How to save images in email body like a classic attachment?
Modified on Fri, 16 Jun, 2023 at 3:25 PM
To ensure images embedded within an email body are saved akin to traditional attachments, one needs to modify certain settings within the Automatic Email Manager. By default, such images are not considered as attachments and thus are not saved, a situation often encountered with emails dispatched from iPhone or iPad devices. Nonetheless, you can compel Automatic Email Manager to preserve images incorporated in the email body as standard attachments.
Adhere to these guidelines for a seamless process:
- Navigate to 'Options' by clicking on the left menu 'Settings'.
- Select the 'Email attachment' section.
- At the bottom of the screen, utilize the field labeled 'Some malformed...' and append the file extension: jpg.
By executing these steps, you'll ensure images in email bodies are saved in the same manner as conventional attachments.
