My message EML or MSG attached to original email is not processed

Sometimes you receive emails with another email attached, these emails and their attachments are typically received in either .eml or .msg format. While the functionality generally performs as intended, there are instances where the attachment may not be recognized under specific conditions. For example, if you set a condition to process emails only if they are in .eml or .msg format, certain emails may not meet this criteria. This issue arises from the email generator (such as Outlook) which sets the attachment as an inline attachment rather than a conventional file attachment.


Solution:

  1. Go in the options of Automatic Email Manager (left menu, 'Settings')
  2. Now in section 'Attachments' at bottom there is a field 'Some malformed...' just add the extension: eml, msg
