Does Automatic Email Manager run as service when no user is logged in?

Modified on Fri, 2 Oct at 4:17 PM

Short answer

Yes. Automatic Email Manager runs as a Windows service named AEM Service. It is installed and started automatically, so your scenarios keep running when:

  • No user is logged in to Windows
  • The application window is closed
  • The computer is locked or at the sign-in screen

You don't need to configure anything.

Runs as service on background

Check that the service is running

  1. Press Win + R, type services.msc, and press Enter.
  2. Find AEM Service in the list.
  3. Check that Status is Running and Startup Type is Automatic.

If the service is stopped, right-click it and select Start.

Make sure it starts with Windows

In Automatic Email Manager, go to Settings > Environment and enable Start Windows Service automatically (even when not logged).
