Action: Print attachment(s)
Modified on Thu, 1 Oct at 7:12 PM
Print the files attached to your emails automatically, with no need to open and print each one by hand. You can print all attachments or only the ones you need, and add a stamp or page numbers on each page.
Add the action
- Create or edit a scenario.
- Click Add action, then select Printing, then Print attachment(s).
- Select the printer.
- Click Ok to save the action.

Settings
On this printer
Select one of your installed printers, or use the default printer. Click Settings to adjust margins, paper tray, duplex mode, and more.
Print range
Choose the first page to print and the number of copies.
Cancel printing if the document is longer than x pages
Avoid printing very large documents by mistake. If a document exceeds the number of pages you set, nothing is printed.
Add a stamp
Add a stamp or page numbers on each page, for example Received on with the date, or Shipped. Create your stamps in Tools, then Stamp templates.
Condition (optional)
Print only the attachments you need, based on their file name or content. For example, set Contains .pdf to print PDF files only.
Use AI content analysis
Let AI process the attachment and print the result in text format. Learn more.
Protected files
If you receive password-protected documents (Word, PDF, Office, and more), enter the possible passwords, one per line. Each one is tried until the file opens.
File type options
Each file type (PDF, Excel, Word, image, and more) has its own options. Follow the instructions on screen.
Tips
- To print the email too, add Print email body to the same scenario.
- To print the email and its attachments in a single print job, use Print email and attachments in a single print job.
- New file types are turned off by default for security. If an attachment isn't printed, check Options, then File types management.
